Automatic "Skilled Worker Level Deburring" Achieved with FINESYSTEM's Deburring Robot Cell

Burrs refer to protrusions or excess parts that occur during the processes of metalworking or resin (plastic) processing, and they generally have irregular and sharp shapes. According to JIS standard JIS B 0051, they are defined as "residues on parts from machining or molding processes that are external remnants of geometric shapes at the edges of corners." Burrs are formed during the process of cutting or shaping metal when the material stretches and tears. **Three Reasons to Remove Burrs:** - To prevent product failure and wear - To enhance assembly accuracy - To ensure product safety Traditionally, burr removal has been considered a manual task. At FINESYSTEM, we are developing an automated burr removal system that achieves "skilled worker-level burr removal" to address challenges such as high quality, labor hours, and worker shortages that have been identified in the burr removal process, as well as developing and manufacturing burr removal holders and tools. For more details, please download the PDF document or feel free to contact FINESYSTEM.
